In case you haven’t heard, we moved last year from the Los Angeles area to St. Joseph Missouri and started a nonprofit – M3 Ministries. This new venture is up-and-going, and it is growing.
We started M3 Ministries because we have a vision to help the church be everything it is meant to be – a visible expression of Christ’s kingdom “on earth as it is in heaven.” We exist for the future of the church.
Our experience as a pastor and professor for the past 25 years has allowed us to see some areas of need in many churches…
We need to do a better job of caring for our leaders – so that they are strengthened to shepherd the churches entrusted to them. If our leaders are broken and hurting, how can they care for their congregations?
We need to be better at educating our people – so that they are equipped to follow Christ in today’s world. If our people are not properly prepared, how can our churches be strong and thriving?
We need to help our churches learn to work together – so that they will more actively engage and serve the communities where they live. If our churches are disconnected and divided, how can they ever be a unified display of Christ to the people around them?
Meeting these areas of need is what M3 Ministries is all about. Our mission is to strengthen local churches through a threefold ministry of pastoral encouragement, church education, and community engagement.
We believe this is a significant work: To strengthen the church of today is to prepare the church of tomorrow. This is not something we can accomplish by ourselves; it can only be done in partnership with people who share our vision of seeing the church flourish into the future.

Launching a Training Center/School for those who desire to be equipped and trained for Christian life and leadership. This will be a one-year, cohort-based curriculum involving online classes and forums, on-campus seminars, along with practical outworking and outcomes.
Expanding Our Pastoral Care Ministry that provides encouragement and care for pastors and church leaders.
